What is CBD, THC, delta9THC and more?

Las Vegas Marijuana - THC, CBD, delta9THC

CBD, TERPENES, THC, What’s With delta9THC?

What does it all mean, isn’t cannabis… cannabis? You see the label with the testing results and your name but, have you actually read it?

When the Nevada wrote the laws regarding medicinal marijuana their focus was on ensuring patient safety. Their solution was to mandate lab testing for all medicinal cannabis products. This restricted sales of cannabis products to only cultivation centers within the state – local farmers, manufactures and dispensaries. It makes it easy for the patient to find strains, tinctures, and concentrates by a specific brand/cultivator.

Now why is that relevant and what does it have to do with the label?

There is a great deal of information in the testing results of your cannabis products. You will see many numbers, percentages, acronyms, and unusual symbols. These relate to the various compounds found in cannabis. Each compound is beneficial for certain conditions. With a little research you can find strains with specific traits to treat your various ailments. You will start to see a pattern of what components of the cannabis plant work best for you. We want to share a few articles, resources, and organizations that specialize in the research of cannabis.

“CBD TO THC” NOT “CBD VS THC”

When treating a medical condition with cannabis, it is important to ensure you are taking the correct ratio of CBD (cannabidiol) to THC (Tetrahydrocannabinol). If you are trying to beat insomnia, a high dose THC strain would be most effective, if you are looking to manage anxiety, low dose THC and high dose CBD would be best.

Here is a great read about the benefits of both THC and CBD. To download the PDF from mychronicrelief.com click here. Chronic Relief is an encyclopedia of cannabis knowledge, medicate with a little sativa and give it a read! You could get trapped here for hours.
